The Renovation of Lahaina is well underway. Fortunately, a tropical oasis of 130 properties, including this home on the south shore of Puamana, survived the Lahaina Fire. Maui County has cleared this section of Puamana for access and confirmed that all utilities, including water, were thoroughly tested by the EPA and are in good, safe condition. As a result, we can safely welcome guests back to relax in this beautifully updated home, featuring wide-plank lux vinyl floors, quiet double-pane glass windows, and stylish bathrooms. The split-duct AC system ensures year-round comfort, while the expansive, coconut tree-filled lawn adds to the enchanting atmosphere. Make your dream of island living a reality in this picture-perfect Puamana paradise.
The Historic Clubhouse and 94 townhomes on the north side of the property were destroyed in the Lahaina fire. Their building sites are cleared, and their plans and permits await county approval. Access in this area is restricted. Furthermore, Lahaina Town is currently off-limits while rebuilding is in progress. You will notice the building sites as you drive down the highway and enter the gate at Puamana. Once over the bridge, you will enter the tropical oasis of low-rise homes that Puamana is famous for. Fortunately, two grocery stores in Lahaina and their shopping complexes, Safeway and Foodland Farms, survived the fire and are just a 10-minute drive away. Maui's best Hula show, the Old Lahaina Lua, also survived, along with four excellent restaurants: Ocean Tavern, Mala’s, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle.
Of course, just a short drive away, Kaanapali and Kapalua offer a wealth of activities and attractions. It always returns in the summer when the seasonal south swell pushes the sand back along the shoreline. Many beautiful beaches are nearby if you find yourself here during this time.

This is a townhouse condominium that looks directly across the Pacific Ocean to the island of Lanai. The development is from the mid1960s but the unit was recently renovated. It is conveniently located at the southern end of Front Street making for an easy drive to Lahaina and quick access to the highway to get to the other towns in Maui.

We had an amazing vacation at this Puamana condo. Property managers were available and responsive. A couple things needed to be fixed, but were minor.

Lovely condo with lawn from the lanai to the ocean in front! The complex has multiple pools and is well maintained. 10 minute walk to downtown Lahaina from the complex. Will stay here again!

We love the location and nice property. There was an issue with cleaning, however I called and they came right back and fixed the issues. I was very happy with the response.

Condo on the water

We had a great stay at Puamana. The community is well maintained and quiet. Our condo was well stocked with cookware, appliances, etc. We had a beautiful view of Lanai and were super close to the shore (~120 ft). The water is shallow with light surf - not a snorkeling beach, but great for a quick dip. It's rocky though, so wear shoes. This complex is close enough to town that you could walk to Front Street for shopping and restaurants (1.3 miles about 20-25 min walk). It's a 5 min. drive to the free public parking lot (3 hr max) at the south end of Front Street. About 15 min. drive to Ka'anapali Beach, and a 55 min. drive to Makena Beach.
All in all a great place to stay.

As usual our stay was fantastic. We have stayed in Pumanau for over 15 years. The unit location was great, but the upstairs needs a lot of help. Well equipped kitchen. If they update the bathrooms upstairs I think that would be great.
Incredible Location

The location of this condo is fabulous. It is on the lawn with an unfettered view of the ocean. There were beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach umbrella available for guest use which was much appreciated. The condo has sufficient kitchenware so that we could cook meals for our family of four. The unit itself could use an update. There are no screens on the master bedroom windows which makes it hard to leave windows open at night so as to hear the waves. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms are loud but effective. The family room has an old-fashioned sliding door to get outside and then windows across the rest of the patio. There's not much airflow but the view is spectacular. The property was clean and there were additional towels and blankets available for guest use. We arrived on a Sunday and had to bother the manager several times to get access. She was kind and patient with us. We enjoyed Puamana quite a lot and found this unit to be satisfactory. It could be truly incredible, with a few upgrades...

Wonderful holiday in a wonderful townhouse. Close to Lahaina but secluded and with a beautiful ocean view!
Spent almost a week at this condo, and it was perfect! Just steps away from the beach, and serene. Would definitely try to stay here again!
