Check Out Cleaning Fee: $500.00 plus tax. No parking or registration fees.
If guests book a stay exceeding 2 weeks, a $300 plus tax mid-stay service is required.
Maui County Ordinances: Cars should only be parked in the garage or driveway, and not on the street. The house has designated quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, noise levels must not unreasonably disturb neighbors. Outside of quiet hours, noise that can be heard outside of the property should not exceed what is expected in a residential area. Only registered guests are permitted, no parties or group gatherings are allowed.

Our stay in No Kai Oi Hale was wonderful. The property is truly beachfront, located on the south end of Baby Beach (reef-protected) and just minutes from Downtown Lahaina. The waters are shallow (about waist-to chest high inside the reef). We saw turtles, octopi, a monk seal, and many varieties of reef fish. We walked the beach every morning at 7:00 AM when the tide was low and the water mirror-like, and snorkeled in the late morning and sometimes again in mid afternoon. It was an amazing experience! The grandchildren (aged 12 and 14) became very proficient snorkelers during our stay. The house itself and the property are wonderful. The lanai is furnished with very nice lawn chairs, a large round table, two large permanently installed umbrellas, 5 chaise lounges, and an outdoor grill ( which we did not use). There is a lovely ocean breeze most of the day. The house is lovely. The three bedrooms are nicely arranged and the two baths are great! There is also a nicely placed outside shower with hot water to use when coming in from the beach. The living room/family room/ dining table for six/ and kitchen are one large room with one long wall of glass sliding doors with sliding screens opening onto the lanai. Lots of privacy is provided by the tall dense trees and bushes that line that side of the property. The house is well furnished with everything needed! We also loved the shops and restaurants in downtown Lahaina. Our stay was so wonderful. We hope to return soon.

The only issue we had is that we tripped the house alarm upon arrival. I don't remember seeing anything about the alarm needing to be disarmed. Other than that, it was perfect!

The house is exactly as advertised - spacious, clean, maintained, and literally 50 steps to the beach. Every day we ate breakfast on the lanai, then spent time in the warm clear waters, swimming with fish and turtles. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans, and a few things in the pantry. Bathroom situation was odd and yes, not much privacy with slatted doors throughout the house, but it was not a problem. The power went out at one point (most likely due to the A/C, as other reviewers noted) but a quick flip of the main breaker and all was fine. We would definitely return to No Ka Oi Hale.

Whaler’s Group was fabulous, but woman never showed up to meet us at house and was rude when we called to tell her about plumbing problem. Called Whaler’s and Darren fixed it immediately by snaking the drain. Despite Diane never showing, we had a fabulous time as usual. It is within walking distance to downtown Lahaina, supermarkets and of course steps to Baby Beach. What a location! Right on baby beach, amazing views! Upon Arrival the home was extremely clean. We had pre-shipped a box with Easter gifts to Whalers vacation rental office, and the kind people there made sure it was in the home when we arrived. Mahalo! We didn't rent a car as everything you need is within walking distance. Really, cannot beat the location closeness to the beach! Only drawback is if you are really looking for 100% privacy, this place is not for you, as the main foot-trail to baby beach runs directly next to this home. There is a constant stream of people walking by the 4 ft gate, and tying bikes and such against the fence directly in front of gate.

Wowwy Maui! This is the perfect place. The space was clean and comfortable, the deck was thoughtfully designed, the hammock is maybe the greatest 2 square feet of real estate in America... set a foot from the Pacific Ocean, in your own yard... ORION sitting above you in the clearest sky... it was just silly how perfect this all was. Don’t go up Route 30 North more than a few miles... lol.

Stayed here 6 nights with the family and we really enjoyed the home. If you enjoy the beach and being close to Lahaina town, this is the place for you. We would walk to our favorite breakfast place in Lahaina, Longhi's, in the morning which was about 10 minutes down on Front Street. All the shopping you need is right there in Lahaina which is really convenient since you don't have to drive there. The home itself has character. Tile flooring throughout with central AC and a bunch of sliding glass doors. 2 bathrooms, which were somewhat small, and the kitchen a bit small too but nice enough. There's a round dining table which was able to sit our family of 6 which was great for nights we ate in-house. I read some reviews that said beach towels were not provided. We did not find that to be the case when we stayed. In fact, the house was stocked with many towels, both bath and beach. Baby beach is literally a few feet from the backyard. After a long sandy day at the beach, our kids really enjoyed the outdoor shower which actually felt better than the indoor shower. we did find a couple bugs (roaches) in the house. considering this is the tropics I was able to look past this. Another thing that should be mentioned is security. Please make sure the outside gate to the car port is closed and locked. Since the home is close to Downtown Lahaina, you may get some shady characters once in a while roaming the streets. One night we heard our car alarm sound off. when we went outside we found part of our car handle missing, It looked like we scared off the suspect when we ran outside. But Overall, this is a great home and location especially considering most of the homes on baby beach are more expensive. I would definitely stay here again

Bugs are a part of the island and it is nearly impossible to keep them all out, but we will ensure to stay on top of them to ensure sightings are as few and far between as possible. Very good point on security as well. The home's proximity to Downtown Lahaina does necessitate an awareness of security. We recommend exactly what you described, locking the gate and doors when you are in for the evening and out of the house during the day.

What a wonderful location and home! Hard to motivate yourself to go anywhere with the view and seating from the Lanai. The house is small, but lovely. (You spend all your time outside anyway). Beach access from your front yard. The house is unique. Interesting layout, but it works. The floor to ceiling windows in the front truly bring the outdoors in. Loved opening the sloats to hear the ocean and birds every day. There are books, games, and everything you could possibly need for the beach. The only negative is the odd bathroom set up in master bedroom, it would be nice if it had a solid door instead of bifold. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Perfect for two couples or a family. We would certainly stay here again. Diane was very helpful. Met us upon arrival, and assisted when one of our party left their sunglasses (and rum) at the house after our departure.
This place was absolutely perfect for our family vacation...it was so amazing to me just steps from the ocean. It was so nice having all of the beach chairs, umbrella, toys for the kids etc. Plenty of beach towels as well. The house is stocked with everything you need for your stay. Communication was great with the host and we had the most amazing time. The location is perfect and in walking distance to the shops and restaurants. One suggestion is that they make the bathrooms more private....but we got used to it...and we will for sure stay there again.
