The renowned Kaanapali Beach is well known for its numerous water activities. It's the perfect place for sunbathing, swimming and kayaking. There are some excellent snorkeling spots, the most notable of which is located at the base of Black Rock which marks the north end of the beach and acts as an anchor for corals, hosts of colorful fish and other marine life.

A short drive away lies the beautiful Kapalua Golf Course, as does historic Lahaina Town and all its countless shops, restaurants and art galleries which run along sparkling shoreline.

West Maui is an excellent spot for whale watching during the winter months, and for taking in the incredible flaming sunsets over the neighboring islands all year round.
