We are pleased to announce that more than half of Puamana, located on the south side of the property, was spared during the Lahaina fire. All utilities have been repaired, and guests are welcome to return and enjoy this beautiful tropical oasis, known for its year-round sunshine and low-rise residential atmosphere. The north side of the property is cleared for construction, with plans and permits currently pending county approval. You will see the cleared building sites as you drive down the highway and enter the gate at Puamana. Once you cross the bridge, you will enter the tropical paradise of low-rise homes that Puamana is famous for.
Two grocery stores, Safeway and Foodland Farms, along with their shopping complexes in Lahaina, are a convenient 10-minute drive away. While you're in the area, don't miss Maui's best hula show at the Old Lahaina Luau and enjoy dining at four excellent restaurants: Ocean Tavern, Mala’s, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle.
All the activities, shopping, and dining that Maui is known for are within a 15–20-minute drive to Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kaanapali features a 2.8-mile stretch of white sand beach perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Sunset and dinner cruises also launch from this beach, and Kaanapali’s Black Rock is famous for snorkeling with turtles and cliff diving. Activities available include parasailing, jet skiing, surfing lessons, whale watching, and paddleboarding. On land, Kaanapali boasts two championship golf courses with spectacular views, zip-lining in the West Maui Mountains, and tennis at the Royal Lahaina. For pickleball enthusiasts, the Lahaina Civic Center offers numerous courts. If you want to dine out, Kaanapali has several restaurants, including Lelani's, Hula Grill, Monkeypod, and Japengo. A little further up the road, Kapalua offers several excellent beaches, two championship golf courses, fabulous restaurants, spas, zip-line tours, and scenic hiking trails.
